American Rental began in 1981, in Bloomington, Indiana. We have grown to include more than 50 store locations
throughout Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia by being good at what we do.

WHO WE ARE

Each of our store locations is a bit different depending on where they're located, but all of us are in smaller communities where we get to know the people. We work with others and try to be a good community partner. And we love helping kids! We must be doing something right because we've been around and locally owned since 1981, and we're still growing.

What We Do

WHAT WE DO

Everybody wants nice things for their homes, right? At American Rental, we make that possible. Our customers can do cash and carry or they can rent to own with one of our affordable payment plans. We help our customers stay on track with their rental payments, so that they can own the merchandise. 100% of rent paid goes towards ownership. Some other rental companies don't do that. We provide free delivery and installation. We service what we sell, and we provide loaners if needed during repair. We don't want our customers to have to do without. We even move the merchandise if a customer relocates locally.

What We Believe

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to go after the things they want in life. That goes for our employees, our customers and for the kids and their families that we help every year. Over the years, we've given more than $350,000 to Riley Kids and Kosair Kids. We fill backpacks with school supplies each fall and give them away. And we support a lot of local causes, too.
